What is Paid sessions?
Paid sessions are scheduled one-to-one online interactions, such as a video call, voice call or text chat, that a fan books and pays for in advance at a creator's set price.
Sessions give fans dedicated, real-time attention for a fixed length of time. Because they are booked ahead, creators can plan their week and avoid being on call. Common formats are video, voice-only and text chat.
Taking payment before the session protects creators from no-shows. Clear session descriptions, durations and cancellation terms help set expectations, and screening questions let creators check that a booking suits them before confirming.
On MyShrine, sessions are video, voice or text chat, booked on the creator's calendar and paid in full. The creator confirms the booking, and the fan receives a link to a private session room. A £80 session costs the fan £88 and pays the creator £72. Sessions are online only; in-person meetings are not allowed.
Set boundaries before a session starts, and end any session where those boundaries are not respected. Pricing longer sessions slightly lower per minute can encourage bigger bookings without undercutting your time.
