What is Live stream tipping?
Live stream tipping is when viewers send money to a creator during a broadcast, often towards a visible tip goal, with on-screen alerts that let the creator react in real time.
Live streams turn tipping into a shared, social moment. Viewers see each other's tips, a goal bar fills up, and the creator reacts as it happens. That visibility tends to encourage participation more than tipping in private.
Streams work best with a clear plan: a tip goal with a reason, a small number of named tip options and a regular schedule so fans know when to show up. Some creators charge a ticket to enter, which suits exclusive or special-event streams.
MyShrine live streams support tip goals that update in real time, named tip presets, animated tip alerts, ticketed entry and co-hosts. Fans see every tip amount including the 10% service fee; a £5 tip costs £5.50 and pays the creator £4.50. Live streams are automatically scanned and can be reported by viewers.
Streams must follow the same content rules as everything else, and viewers can report anything that breaks them.
