What is Tip menu?

A tip menu is a creator's published list of fixed-price tips, each linked to a specific reaction, shout-out or small action, so fans know exactly what each amount gets them.

Tip menus turn open-ended tipping into clear choices. Instead of guessing, a fan can see that one amount gets a shout-out, another gets a personalised voice note and a larger one unlocks something bigger. Clear pricing tends to reduce back-and-forth negotiation in chat.

Tip menus are most common in live streams and chat. A good menu has a small number of options at well-spaced prices, uses names that fit the creator's persona, and only lists things the creator is genuinely happy to deliver every time.

On MyShrine creators set their own prices and fans see those prices including the 10% service fee. During live streams, creators can set named tip presets and a tip goal that fills up in real time, with animated alerts when tips arrive. A £10 tip costs the fan £11 and pays the creator £9.

Only put actions on a tip menu that you can deliver within the platform's rules. Anything involving in-person contact is not allowed on MyShrine.
