What is Mass DM?
A mass DM is a single message a creator sends to many fans at once, commonly used to announce new content, promote an offer or send a pay-per-view item.
Mass DMs let creators reach their audience directly, without relying on a feed algorithm. A single message goes to every chosen fan's inbox, where it is more likely to be seen than a public post. They are also the easiest way to bring back fans who bought once and have not returned.
Used well, mass DMs are one of the strongest sales tools a creator has. Used badly, they feel like spam. Sending them at a sensible frequency, writing them personally and offering something genuinely new keeps fans opening them.
