OnlyFans Alternatives for UK Creators (2026)
The main OnlyFans alternatives for UK creators are Fansly, Fanvue, LoyalFans, ManyVids and MyShrine. Most keep 20% of what you earn and pay out in US dollars. MyShrine is run by a UK company, prices in pounds, lets creators keep 90% of their price and pays out weekly in crypto. Every option has to age-check UK users.
Most comparison articles are written for a US audience. They quote minimums in dollars, assume a US bank account and skip the rules that apply specifically to creators and fans in the UK. This guide covers what changes when you are based here, compares the main platforms side by side and works through the fee maths in pounds.
What is different for UK creators
You are paid in someone else's currency
OnlyFans, Fansly, LoyalFans and most other large platforms set their payout minimums in US dollars, and many fans see prices in dollars too. That means your earnings move with the exchange rate, and you may lose a little on every conversion depending on how you are paid. If you plan your month in pounds, a platform that prices and records balances in GBP is simpler to budget with.
Age checks are now standard for UK users
Under the Online Safety Act, services that make adult content available in the UK must use highly effective age assurance for UK users. In practice every serious platform now asks UK fans to prove their age, whether by ID scan, face estimation or another approved method. That is not a reason to pick one platform over another, but it is worth checking that a platform's process is smooth, because a clumsy check loses you fans at the door. On MyShrine, every fan and every creator is age verified with a Didit ID check before they can see or sell content.
Knowing who you contract with
If a payout goes missing or an account is frozen, it helps to know which company you are dealing with and where it is registered. MyShrine is operated by Aquila Global Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17407113). Most of the large alternatives are run from outside the UK, which does not make them worse, but it can make disputes slower.
Banking can be awkward
Adult creators in the UK regularly report banks closing or questioning accounts that receive platform payouts. If this has happened to you, read our guide to debanking for adult creators before you choose a payout method.
Side-by-side comparison
Figures below are taken from each platform's published terms where available. Where we could only find reports rather than an official source, we say so. Always check the current rate before you sign up, because terms change.

The fee maths in pounds
Headline percentages are easy to misread because platforms charge in different places. OnlyFans and most alternatives take their cut from the price the fan pays. MyShrine works the other way: you set a price, you keep 90% of it, and the fan pays a separate 10% service fee on top, shown before they pay.
Say you sell £1,000 worth of content, tips and customs in a month at the same prices on each platform:
- 80% platform: fans pay £1,000, you keep £800.
- MyShrine: fans pay £1,100, you keep £900, the platform keeps £200 in total (£100 from each side).
That is a fair comparison of what you take home, but it is not the whole picture, because your fans pay 10% more. If you want fans to pay the same amount on both platforms, lower your MyShrine prices to about £909. Fans then pay roughly £1,000, and you keep about £818, still ahead of £800. Which approach you take is a pricing decision, not a fee decision. Our earnings calculator runs these numbers for your own prices.
The alternatives, briefly
Fansly
The closest like-for-like swap for an OnlyFans subscription page, with weekly payouts after a hold. The June 2025 content rule changes mean some niches are no longer welcome, so read the current rules before moving a catalogue across.
Fanvue
Another subscription platform. Standard share is 80%, with temporary promotional rates reported for new creators. Budget on the standard rate so the end of a promotion does not surprise you.
LoyalFans
Reported to allow findom and BDSM content and to offer several payout methods, including SEPA, which some European creators find convenient. Payouts are reported as twice a month rather than weekly.
ManyVids
Better suited to creators who sell clips than to those who run a subscription page. The reported 60% share on videos is lower than the others, and some creators have reported content removals.
MyShrine
Built around paid interactions rather than subscriptions: a content store, tributes, wishlists, pay-per-message DMs, custom requests, paid sessions, live streams and calls. It is a newer platform, so expect to bring your own audience rather than rely on discovery. Two honest limitations for UK creators today: fans can only pay in cryptocurrency (card payments are coming soon), and payouts are made in crypto to your own wallet, with bank payouts via Paxum still to come.
Crypto payouts and UK paperwork
If you are paid in crypto, you will usually convert it to pounds through an exchange before it reaches your bank. A few practical habits help:
- Use an exchange that is registered with the FCA and supports sterling withdrawals.
- Consider receiving a stablecoin such as USDT if you do not want your earnings to swing in value between payout and conversion.
- Record the sterling value of every payout on the day you receive it, plus any fees you pay to convert.
- Keep exports of your platform earnings history alongside your exchange statements.
We cannot give tax advice. Speak to an accountant, or read HMRC's guidance on self-employment and on cryptoassets, before your first tax return as a creator.
How to choose
- Match the business model. If most of your income is subscriptions, look at Fansly or Fanvue. If it is tips, customs, tributes and one-off sales, a pay-per-interaction platform may suit you better.
- Check the rules for your niche. Fetish, findom and femdom creators should read content policies line by line. Our wider OnlyFans alternatives guide covers niche fit in more depth.
- Work out your payout route. Know how money gets from the platform to your UK account before you move any fans.
- Run two platforms for a while. Keep your existing page open while you test a new one, and move your most engaged fans first.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a UK-based alternative to OnlyFans?
MyShrine is operated by Aquila Global Limited, registered in England and Wales, and prices in pounds. It serves creators and fans worldwide, apart from a small number of restricted countries.
Do UK fans have to verify their age on every platform?
Platforms that make adult content available in the UK are required to use highly effective age checks for UK users under the Online Safety Act, so expect some form of check wherever you are.
Which alternative pays out in pounds?
Most large platforms work in US dollars. MyShrine records balances in pounds with a £50 minimum, but currently pays out in crypto, which you convert to sterling yourself.
Do I pay tax on earnings from these platforms?
Creator income is generally something you need to report, but the details depend on your situation. Speak to an accountant or check HMRC guidance rather than relying on a platform blog.
Can I use MyShrine and OnlyFans at the same time?
Yes. Many creators run more than one platform. MyShrine has no subscriptions, so it can sit alongside a subscription page for tributes, customs and sessions. You can sign up as a creator here.
